Thomas Grosset was born on August 26, 1990 and started playing the drums at around the age of 12. His first influences consist of Buddy Rich, Dennis Chambers, Phil Collins, and Steve Smith. Thomas is a young, dedicated, and talented musician. He has developed into a versatile drummer who excels in a variety of styles.

Thomas became involved with the WFD after seeing it online and received his first drumometer in the summer of 2006. Tom was also given the opportunity to compete in the World's Fastest Drummer competition in the summer of 2007 in Austin, Texas.

Thomas successfully set a record of 1194 single strokes in 1 minute during the preliminary runs, making him the new 16-and-under record holder and the 3rd fastest drummer in the world in all age categories. He also managed to reach a score of 1156 single strokes during the finals, labeling him as an official WFD Champion
